  What will the judges be looking for?
    Below are the judging criteria and the percentage weightage used by the panel.

Original and / or innovative
30%
Highly original and/ or innovative and creative as an idea.
Relevance 20% Effectively addresses a common need in school, community and/or Singapore.
Research 20% Identifies problems and possible solutions; distinguishesfact from opinion; and has thought through development process.
Sense of Reality 20% The concept makes a strong business case and has high potential to be developed for use.
Presentation 10% The ideas and arguments are presented in a logical and convincing manner.
     
  Will grants be awarded to existing school projects?
    Ideas in Action provides grants for NEW IDEAS generated for this program. Grants WILL NOT be awarded to existing student projects that have already been completed.
     
  How much funding do we get to develop our ideas and projects?
    The size of the grant varies according to the nature and scale of the project. Approved projects will receive grants of up to $2,500 depending on the degree of uniqueness and innovativeness.
     
  How many funding grants will be made this year?
    Up to 100 grants will be available this year, but the actual number depends on the quality of project submissions received as deemed by the judging panel.
     
  What happens if our idea gets short-listed?
    You will be contacted by the Ideas in Action organizing committee via email and asked to deliver a 5-minute presentation to a judging panel. The venue details for the presentation will be sent to you closer to the judging date.
