THE IDEA BEHIND IDEAS IN ACTION

Ideas in Action is a program that enables students and teachers to develop their creative and entrepreneurial ideas through seed funding from Citi Foundation. • The Ideas in Action projects seek to award teams with grant funding of up to $2,500 for the development of their new ideas. Not a reward based program that will fund teams with completed projects, it awards grants based on the innovative and entrepreneurial thinking as well as the creative process displayed in the submitted project plans. • A school may send in as many entries as they like but each entry must be submitted on a separate on-line entry form. If your idea is short-listed, you and your team will be invited to present your proposal to a panel of judges comprising professionals from the education, business, media and public sectors. • The plans must be submitted via the on-line entry form found under How to Apply?.
